How Chorus compares to other group gifts

With Chorus, everyone can send a voice note, a video, a message or photos from one link, and it’s free to collect. You pay one price when the book is ready, and postage is included.

We write out every voice note and gather it all into a podcast you can play and a book you can hold. VidDay and Tribute make a video, and Storyworth and Remento build the book around one storyteller.

No hidden fees

Each Chorus price stays the same however many people join and however long the book is. Postage to 35 countries is in the price, and there’s nothing to renew.

Collecting is free and you won’t need a card. Everyone can chip in towards the book, and what they put in comes off what you pay.

Help from the people who make Chorus

Ask us anything

The chat on our website answers straight away, and we read every conversation. Leave your email in it, or write to hello@spremtlabs.com, and one of us will write back.

Change your mind

You can cancel a book for a full refund any time before it goes to print. If anything is wrong with a printed copy, we fix it or print it again.

What Chorus does that the others don’t

Your book can take voice, video and writing

You choose which ones it takes, and anyone can add photos. Plenty of people won’t go on camera.

VidDay and Tribute ask for video. VoiceHug takes voice only, and Memorygram has no video.

Each person has their own page

Their message sits under their name and how they know the person the book is for.

Hear it. Read it. Hold it.

Every voice and video plays in turn from one podcast link. The book reads online with each message playing from its page, and the hardcover comes in the post.

The keepsake from VidDay and Tribute is a case with a screen in it.

You keep the recordings

You can download every recording any time, whether you order or not.

VoiceHug deletes each person’s recording 30 days after the gift is made.

Questions people ask

Is Chorus free?

Collecting is free, however many people take part. You only pay if you want the podcast link, the book online or the printed book.

Does Chorus have any hidden costs?

No. It’s one payment when the book is ready. The price is the same for 6 people or 60, postage is included, and there’s no subscription.

Can people send a voice message instead of a video?

Yes. A voice note is one of the three ways to answer, beside a video and a written message. You choose which ones your book takes.

Is there an alternative to Storyworth for the whole family?

Chorus is the one to look at. Storyworth sends one person a question each week. Chorus asks everyone who knows the person, and each of them gets their own page in the book.

Is there a free alternative to Kudoboard?

Chorus is free to collect for any size of group. Kudoboard’s free board holds five posts and can’t be sent, and its paid boards start at $6.99.
