Chorus or Memorygram for a memorial book?
Start gathering memories today, and it's free! Pop in the voice notes and videos you already have of them, send the link round, and only pay once you love the book.
Start collecting, freeWe make Chorus. We read Memorygram's site on 31 October 2026. Prices change, so check both before you buy.

Say you ask 30 people and 8 send a memory
spent so far. Give it another week, or make a lovely book from the eight.
already paid, the day the invitations went out.
Where Chorus goes further
Nothing to pay until the book is ready
Collecting is free, however many people join in. If only a handful send something, you haven't lost a cent, and you can still download every recording for free. Memorygram takes its $99 up front.
Their own voice goes in first
You probably have more of them than you think! Voice notes, WhatsApp audio, videos, photos and screenshots can all go in. Their own voice plays first, and we write out every voice note for you. Memorygram doesn't mention adding what you already have.
Share it however suits you
These messages matter so much, and we want to gather them in every form they come in. People can talk, write, record a video or add their photos, whichever suits them best. Memorygram takes writing, photos and audio.
The family can chip in
Turn on chip-in and anyone who records can put something towards the book. Whatever they give comes off what you pay, so nobody carries it alone.
Everyone can listen on their phone
Send the family one link and it plays like an audiobook of everyone's memories, each in their own voice, with the photos and videos in it too. Everyone can listen whenever they want to hear them. Memorygram prints one QR code in the book that plays the audio.
Postage is in the price
The price you see includes postage to any of the 35 countries we send to, and nothing gets added at the checkout. Extra copies are $45 each, so everyone can have one. Memorygram's extra copies are $67 or $77, and it doesn't say what shipping costs.

What families say
It was really easy to collect the stories of Mum, and it's now a book I can give all my children that really brings her to life. Pardon the pun and dark humour!!
I love Chorus! Thank you so much for giving us a chance for so many laughs remembering Tom. The family chat was taken over talking about him again with all we had uncovered. It was beautiful.

Questions people ask
Is Chorus an alternative to Memorygram?
Yes. Both gather memories from as many people as you like and turn them into a book you can hear. With Chorus, collecting is free, and you can add what you already have of them.
Do people need an account or an app?
No, neither does. On Chorus people tap the link and record, and Memorygram doesn't ask for a login either.
How long does each take?
Memorygram suggests starting about 4 weeks before the funeral, and printing takes around 10 working days once you approve the book. With Chorus, you decide when the book closes.
Is the audio written out in English only?
Memorygram says it writes out audio in English. Chorus writes out every voice note and puts it under the name of the person who said it.
