Chorus or StoryKeeper for a family book?

Everyone who knows them records a voice note, a video or a few words, and it's free until the book is ready! The family gets it on their phones like an audiobook, with the photos and videos in it, and as a book to hold.

We make Chorus. We read StoryKeeper's site on 31 October 2026. Prices change, so check both before you buy.

Where Chorus goes further

Free until the book is ready

Collecting is free for as many people as you like, and if you stop, you can still download every recording for free. StoryKeeper is paid up front: €59 for one storyteller or €79 for the family.

A page for everyone who takes part

Everyone who joins in gets their own page, with their voice note written out under their name. It's a joy to flick through! On StoryKeeper, Classic is for one storyteller and the family joins in on Plus.

Add what you already have

Got old voice notes, WhatsApp audio, videos or photos? Pop them in beside what everyone records.

Sit with them and record

With the free Chorus app you can sit down with your mam or dad and record the conversation yourself. It's a lovely way to get to know them, and every word goes into the book.

Hear it without printing

Not everyone wants a printed book, and that's grand! For $45 one link plays every voice in turn on any phone, or there's the book online for $99. Every StoryKeeper plan is a printed book.

The family can share the cost

Each person who records can put something towards the book, and it comes off your total. Nobody has to carry it alone.

Postage is in the price

The price you see includes postage to any of the 35 countries we send to, and nothing gets added at the checkout. That covers Belgium, Denmark, Poland, Portugal and Switzerland, where StoryKeeper doesn't post.

What families say

We gave a book of stories about Mam to her for Christmas and she said it was the best gift she had received. There were some stories she had never heard! She felt really surrounded by love.

Questions people ask

Is Chorus an alternative to StoryKeeper?

Yes, for a book that many people add to. Chorus is free to collect, and on StoryKeeper the family needs the Plus plan.

When do I pay?

With Chorus, when the book is ready and you've chosen what you want. With StoryKeeper, at the start.

Can I hear the voices without the printed book?

With Chorus, yes. One link plays every voice on any phone, and you can buy it without printing. StoryKeeper's recordings play from QR codes in its book and from the family's archive online.

Can I record a parent who doesn't use a phone?

Yes. With the free Chorus app you sit beside them and record the conversation yourself, and it goes into the book. StoryKeeper Plus books phone calls and records them for you.

Can relatives abroad take part?

Yes, on both. Anyone with the Chorus link can add a message from any country, and StoryKeeper's phone calls have no country limits.
