For a hen party

The hens record their stories for the bride.

The hens each record a story and a bit of advice. She gets a book of them before the wedding.

Gathering is free. You won't need a card.

The three questions for a hen party

  1. What's your best story about the bride?
  2. What's your advice for married life?
  3. What would you like to say to the bride before the big day?
Who's in a hen party book

Some of her best stories happened before the groom came along.

Her mam and her aunties can add advice from their own marriages.

1

The groom's sisters

Ask the groom's mam for their numbers, so the new side of the family is in it from the start.

2

On the morning of the wedding

Hand her the printed book while she's getting her hair done.

3

Photos from the nights out

Each hen can add a photo with her story, from the J1 summer to last Christmas.

Questions people ask

What is a good hen party gift for the bride from all the hens?

Something she can read again on the first anniversary. Every story and every bit of advice is written out in the book.

What advice do you give the bride at a hen party?

Whatever you'd want someone to tell you the week before your own wedding.

Can we keep it a secret from the bride?

Yes. Leave her out of the chat you post the link in, and play it for her on the weekend.

Can friends who can't come to the hen send a message?

Yes. They record from anywhere in the world with the same link. We post the printed book to Ireland, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, every EU country, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.

Can everyone chip in?

Yes, if you turn chip-in on. Everyone who records can put money towards the book and saves their card. Their cards are charged when you go to pay, and it comes off what you pay. If you don’t finish paying, their money goes back within a week.
