For a boss who's leaving

Give the boss a send-off from the people they hired.

Everyone they hired and managed records a message. Your boss leaves with a book of them and a podcast link of every voice.

Gathering is free. You won't need a card.

Everyone adds their story

Friends and family can capture a memory by voice, video, writing or photos, wherever they are in the world. It's easy on any phone and nobody needs an account!

We put it together

Hear it, read it, hold it

We write out every voice note and gather it all into a podcast you can play and a beautiful book you can hold.

The three questions for a boss who's leaving

  1. What do you remember about your first week on their team?
  2. What did they teach you that you still use?
  3. What would you like to thank them for?
Who's in a book for a boss

The people they trained who run teams now can record too.

Send it to them by text or on LinkedIn. For the current team, use a chat the boss isn't in.

1

The managers beside them

The managers who sat through the same meetings for years can add a message too.

2

Photos from work

The photo from the team day out goes in with the message of whoever took it.

3

At the leaving do

Give them the printed book on their last day.

Questions people ask

What is a good leaving gift for a boss from the team?

Their team's own words about working for them. Each voice note is written out word for word in the book.

What do you write in a leaving card for your boss?

Write it the way you'd say it in the corridor. If you're recording, find a quiet room and hold the phone close.

What if my boss doesn't like speeches?

Send them the podcast link instead of playing it at the do. They can listen at home on their own.

Can people outside the company record?

Yes. Anyone with the link can, including clients they looked after for years.

Can everyone chip in?

Yes, if you turn chip-in on. Everyone who records can put money towards the book and saves their card. Their cards are charged when you go to pay, and it comes off what you pay. If you don’t finish paying, their money goes back within a week.

Whose last day is coming up?
