A book of songs

The songs that remind us of you.

Everyone you invite picks a song that makes them think of the person and says why, in a voice note or in writing.

Gathering is free. You won't need a card.

How it works

Bring everyone's stories together with one link!

Start the book

Tell us who it's for

Put in their name and send the link round. Everyone is asked for a song first.

Share one link

Everyone adds their story

Friends and family can capture a memory by voice, video, writing or photos, wherever they are in the world. It's easy on any phone and nobody needs an account!

We put it together

Hear it, read it, hold it

We write out every voice note and gather it all into a podcast you can play and a beautiful book you can hold.

What everyone is asked

  1. Why does that song remind you of them?
The pages

What the book holds

The person the book is for hears each song from its page.

1

The song

They search for it or paste a link from Spotify, YouTube or Apple Music. The artist's name prints over the title.

2

The photo

They add a photo from their phone, and it prints with their page.

3

The contents page

It lists every song and who chose it, once two people have picked one.

What people say

Questions people ask

Can each page have a QR code for a song?

Yes. Each person can pick a song, and it prints at the top of their page with a QR code that plays it. A voice note prints as its own QR code on the same page.

Can I choose the questions?

Yes. You can ask anything you like, in any order. People can answer with a song, a photo, a voice note, a date, a choice or a link as well as words.

Can I check every page before it's printed?

Yes. You see every page as it will print and can change any of them. Nothing goes to the printer until you send it.

Can I change how the pages look?

Yes. You can change the type, the colours, the margins, where the photo sits and the size of the QR codes, for the whole book or for one person's pages.
